Program name

Slide Phone Verification — operated by Slide (useslideapp.com).

Consent language shown in-app (point of opt-in)

SMS opt-in is a standalone action — it is not bundled with account creation or any other agreement. After a user enters their phone number in the Slide app, they land on a dedicated verification screen. That screen shows the disclosure below directly above a “Send verification code” button and a separate “Skip for now” link. Tapping “Send verification code” is the explicit opt-in and triggers one transactional SMS to the phone number the user just entered. Tapping “Skip for now” continues signup without sending any SMS.

By tapping “Send verification code”, you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code at the number above. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our SMS Policy. You can use Slide without verifying your phone.

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of creating, maintaining, or using a Slide account. The “Skip for now” link is always available on the verification screen, and users who skip can still sign up, sign in, and use every feature of the app.

Branded opt-in screen (in-app)

The screenshot below is the actual in-app screen where Slide users provide SMS opt-in consent. The Slide brand, the phone-number entry, the full disclosure text, the “Send verification code” opt-in button, and the alternative “Skip for now” link are all visible — together they show the complete, branded opt-in experience as the user encounters it.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. You can use Slide without verifying your phone.', a 'Send verification code' primary button, and a 'Skip for now' secondary link.

What we send

Slide sends one-time passcodes (OTP) by SMS so users can verify their own phone number inside the Slide app. These are transactional 2FA / account-verification messages.

We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messages. We do not sell, share, or transfer phone numbers to third parties for marketing purposes.

Sample message

Your Slide verification code is: 123456. It expires in 5 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.

How users opt in

Users opt in by entering their own phone number inside the Slide mobile app and tapping “Send verification code” on the dedicated verification screen. That tap is the explicit, standalone request to receive a verification SMS at that number — it is not bundled with account creation, terms acceptance, or any other agreement. The same screen offers a “Skip for now” link so that users who do not wish to receive SMS can continue without opting in. Slide does not send SMS to any number the user has not entered themselves and confirmed by tapping Send on this screen.

Message frequency

Frequency is user-initiated and low. A code is sent only when the user requests one. Rate limits: 3 per hour and 5 per day per phone number.

Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.

Opt out — STOP

To stop receiving SMS from Slide, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS from Slide after that. You can also email ro@useslideapp.com to request removal.

Help — HELP

Reply HELP to any message for support, or email ro@useslideapp.com.

Privacy

Phone numbers submitted for verification are used solely to deliver the verification SMS and confirm ownership of the number. They are not shared with third parties for marketing.
